Magenta Wave

Magenta Wave is an alternative indie-rock band that started playing live in Bellingham, Washington during the spring of 2022. 

The group quickly made their way into established venues, playing shows at the Wild Buffalo, the Shakedown, and the Blue Room, which they have sold on three separate occasions.

Notorious for emotionally charged vocal melodies supplemented with evocative guitar solos, their sound constantly evolves as the musicians grow as both artists and human beings. 

In the fall of 2023 the band relocated to Seattle, where they currently share a house together. They took little time to settle, playing shows at Barboza, Tractor Tavern, and the Central Saloon. They recently capitalized upon this momentum with their first sold-out show at the Sunset Tavern played in the beginning of October.  

With the release of their debut single in February 2024, and an accompanying four-song EP dropped in August, the group is proud to have accumulated over 150,000 Spotify streams to date. As fall turns the corner, they have begun to take a break from playing live to explore new depths of their songwriting process as they prepare to record a new batch of songs. 

Adding producer Ethan Bovey to the mix (Dave Matthews Band), they expect to see 6-10 tracks added to their discography next year. Accompanying the sight of new music, the band will be embarking on their first West Coast tour throughout the months of April & May. 

With 28 shows throughout the PNW under their belt this year, and chemistry continuing to grow daily, the band is quite excited for what 2025 has in store.

Hailing from the Canadian prairies, Neighbour Andy has spent the last few years building a reputation not just as a band, but as a genuine live-show hot ticket. Comprised of Drake Lesperance (vocals), Mark Davidson (guitar), MacKenzie Jackson (bass), Jordan Alexiuk (drums), and Joel d’Eschambault (keys), the five friends fuse the rhythmic drive of alt-rock with the narrative heart of Americana, folk, and a touch of funk — a sound that skips the predictable and lands somewhere necessary.

Neighbour Andy’s psychedelic rock romp “Courtney,” off their newly released sophomore album “Right by You, by Everyone,” took North American alt-rock radio by storm, breaking into the Top 10 on Canada's Alternative charts and claiming the #1 spot for New Airplay in its first week. Known for their down-to-earth authenticity and relatable storytelling, the band has brought their live show across North America, appearing at major festivals including BreakOut West, NXNE, and Departure. With their fresh new album Right by You, By Everyone finally out and plenty to say, Neighbour Andy is poised to become a staple in the North American alt-rock scene.
