The Peach Candy Nut Boys were initially conceived in early 2023 when multi-instrumentalists Lake Coppedge and Owen Buettner began writing in a basement in Boone, North Carolina. Bonded by a mutual love for old psychedelic rock, weird riffs and complex harmony, they started switching off on guitar and drums to flesh out songs. Emmett Beerbower and Aidan “Fleasy” Smith joined the group soon thereafter, completing the original lineup for their 5 song self-titled EP released in August 2024. Aidan has since left the group to pursue other passions, and in November 2025 Joe Davis officially became the new bassist of the group.

Known for their energetic and captivating live performances, the Peach Candy Nut Boys combine a wide range of influences to explore many different sounds.
