This Massachusetts-based alt-country outfit conjures a surprisingly expansive sound from just four players: Lily Sexton (vocals, fiddle, guitar), Sean Davis (electric guitar), Josh Ballard (bass), and Karl Helander (drums). Formerly known as progressive bluegrass road warriors Mamma’s Marmalade, the group reinvented themselves in 2024 during the making of their debut album ICON, trading in jamgrass for a bold blend of Americana, country, and indie rock.
