JAKE WORTHINGTON COMING TO THE MILLION DOLLAR COWBOY BAR
Rising Star to Bring His Texas Honkytonk to Jackson Hole on April 26th.
JACKSON, WY – Jake Worthington’s grandfather taught him he’d know he had a hit on his hands when the dance floor was full. So, that’s the goal when the honkytonk newcomer brings his authentic country sounds to The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar on Friday, April 26th. It’ll be a night of whiskey-soaked baritone vocals, twang-laden fiddle, and steel guitar-infused honkytonk dance music reminiscent of his heroes Merle Haggard, George Strait and George Jones.
Worthington has been burning up the highway, playing every honkytonk from his hometown of La Porte, TX to Portland, Maine and beyond. Last year was a big one for the 28-year old singer-songwriter. He released his self-titled debut album on Big Loud Records, got a standing ovation at his first Grand Ole Opry performance, and took home Country Album of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the 2023 Texas Country Music Awards. And since it’s deep in his DNA, he worked hundreds of shows across the county, both with his own headlining dates, as well as supporting the likes of Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Hank Jr., and ERNEST.
For his Cowboy Bar debut, General Admission tickets will be $25. A limited number of reserved tables will be available for $75 - $100 per seat. The dance floor will be open to all ticket holders. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, March 20th at 10am (MT) and may be purchased online at cowboybarjh.com. Doors will open at 6:30pm, with the show starting at 8pm.
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, soon to enter its 90th year, is widely regarded as a national treasure and is regularly named one of the top honkytonks in the country. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is dedicated to its value and significance as an iconic live music venue in America, by presenting the most iconic names in country music. #saddleup.
