Do you like native plants? While you are waiting for the show to begin hop across the street from the Codfish Hollow parking lot to talk and learn about native prairie ecology. Join Jackson County Conservation Naturalist Tony Vorwald and experience the high-quality Hamilton prairie. Tony will share his knowledge of prairie ecology. This area has been managed as a local biological preserve for 37 years and is home a unique and diverse set of native plants. Stop by before the show starts and let the prairie add to your Codfish Hollow experience. Email tvorwald@jacksoncounty.iowa.gov for questions and information.
