Led by songwriter MorganEve Swain (formerly of Brown Bird), The Huntress and Holder of Hands is a powerful, genre-blurring project born from loss and transformed into something deeply moving and expansive. What began in the wake of personal tragedy has evolved into a sound that channels grief, resilience, anger, and hope—creating music that is both intimate and universally resonant.
Their latest album, Babylon, marks a bold return—heavier, fuller, and urgent. Blending dark folk, indie rock, and atmospheric textures, the record explores themes of humanity, struggle, and redemption, while still rooted in Swain’s deeply personal songwriting.
Live, the band delivers an immersive and emotional experience—rich with layered instrumentation, haunting vocals, and a sense of connection that lingers long after the final note.

They are described as "apocalyptic junk jazz" and have released three albums, including their latest "Dust Harvest." The DiTrani Brothers are also known for their performances at various venues, including The House of Blues in New Orleans and DIY backyard.Read More
