Wyoming Native To Make His Debut Appearance at The Cowboy on Friday April 25th
Chancey Williams, the saddle bronc athlete who turned into a neo-traditional country music sensation will make his first-ever appearance at Jackson’s venerable Million Dollar Cowboy Bar on Friday, April 25th.
The northeastern Wyoming native has toured the nation, taking the stage ahead of headliners including Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum. He’s performed at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and has headlined The National Finals Rodeo. In 2022, Chancey was named iHeartRadio’s Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year. Having moved from competing horseback to performing on center stage, the recent inductee into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame, joins Chris LeDoux to be the only artists to both perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days and compete in the rodeo.
“For us, it’s been a long journey of playing against what was popular in country music, but we just stayed the course,” Williams recently told People Magazine. Representing the western lifestyle and cowboy mentality in its truest form, Williams’ sound and subject matter has found its way into Nashville’s country music scene, as demonstrated by his latest release, One of These Days. This was his 6th studio album and garnished rave reviews by the likes of People, Billboard, Taste of Country, Whiskey Riff, and Holler. “The time has finally come for Chancey Williams,” declared People Magazine. “Cowboys are cool again!”
General Admission tickets will be $35. A limited number of reserved tables will be available for $75 - $100 per seat. The dance floor will be open to all ticket holders. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, April 9th at 10am (MT) and may be purchased online at cowboybarjh.com. Doors will open at 6:30pm, with the show starting at 8pm.
