WFUV Presents: Griffin House at The Barn – November 20
“If you are looking to be blown away by raw talent, then look no further than Griffin House.” — American Songwriter
For over two decades, Griffin House has been carving out his place as one of America’s most compelling singer-songwriters and storytellers. With more than 13 albums to his name, House first turned heads with his debut Lost and Found (2004), spotlighted on CBS Sunday Morning by music critic Bill Flanagan, who called him one of the best emerging songwriters of his generation.
After years of grassroots touring and opening for acts like John Mellencamp and The Cranberries, House broke through in 2009 as a national headliner with a Late Night with Craig Ferguson appearance and his underground hit, The Guy That Says Goodbye to You is Out of His Mind. His journey was later captured in the 2019 Amazon Prime documentary Rising Star, which followed his life as a modern troubadour navigating marriage, fatherhood, and sobriety.
House’s songs have found their way into TV staples like One Tree Hill, Rescue Me, Party of Five, and Everwood, while Paste, No Depression, and Rolling Stone have praised his heartfelt style. His latest EP, The Tides—produced by Grammy-winner Jacquire King—marks yet another chapter in a career defined by honesty, vulnerability, and powerful live performances.
✨ Don’t miss WFUV Presents: Griffin House at The Barn on Thursday, November 20—a chance to experience a songwriter whose music balances raw talent with timeless storytelling.
