The Sopris Sisters;

Raised in the Rockies and now both living in the shadow of Sopris,
singer-songwriters Harper Powell and Emma Kieran come together once again —
this time, as they debut their duo, The Sopris Sisters.

They bring a fresh folk sound while drawing inspiration from artists such as Sarah Jarosz,
Shawn Colvin, Aiofe O’Donovan, Nanci Griffith, and Anaïs Mitchell.

Harper and Emma met nearly 10 years ago while participating in
eTown’s Handmade Songs competition for Colorado high school singer-songwriters.

Over the pandemic, they co-founded a virtual benefit concert series called Tabletop Concerts.
Now, they are excited to be weaving their musical tapestry in the Roaring Fork Valley.

The concert will feature short solo sets from both Harper and Emma as well as a set with them together.
