Heart of Gold

 

Manchester, UK synth pop outfit Heart of Gold UK is the solo project of Being As An Ocean guitarist/vocalist Michael McGough.

 

“Heart Of Gold UK started at home in 2014 as an outlet for me to be able to sing about my experiences with people and places, how they’ve made me feel and how they’ve shaped me as a person today,” notes McGough. “To say someone has a “heart of gold” was to basically say ‘I know that no matter what, they still meant well’ or ‘they still have a heart of gold’,” he adds. “It was something I was told and taught at a very young age. It changed my outlook and taught me how to see that people will do things very differently to each other in life, so not to be so quick to judge as I am sure that they mean well.”

 

Rookie of the Year

 

Rookie of the Year is an indie rock/acoustic band from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and was formed in 2005 as a solo project of singer Ryan Dunson. Rookie has landed on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and is set to release a new “comeback” record this coming year.

 

The Wildfires Projekt

 

California alternative / nu-punk outfit based in Santa Clarita, CA. Seamlessly integrating their NJ pop-punk, emo roots with the types of hip-hop stylings found only in California, the band has created an undeniable and unique sound. Recently, the Wildfires Projekt has made a name for themselves by breaking industry barriers with their TV series “Sounds of the Underground” (which airs on CBS) and touring with pop-punk veterans The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
