I don’t really know what that means, but I do know that Weird Pals – the world’s premier “Weird Al” Yankovic tribute band – is the most unexpectedly tremendous musical force to come along in quite some time. The psychotic brainchild of Aaron Mortenson and Dylan Sevey, Weird Pals features a cast of top-tier solo artists and sidemen from Nashville whose collective résumés include touring gigs with Tyler Childers, Moon Taxi, Los Colognes, Ron Gallo, Elizabeth Cook, Margo Price, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and many others, as well as performances at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, and nearly every major festival around the world.
