TWO PLANES: Sam Hunt started Two Planes in 2008 at UNC Asheville as a scrappy two-piece noise/post rock band. Over the course of about 15 years, there were many lineups and many years of inactivity, but in late 2022 the current four-piece came together with a fuller and more melodic sound for the instrumental shoegaze/psych compositions and wrote some new material.
