Learn and hone your improv comedy with the help of Second City alum Rich Talarico!

Rich is a Peabody® Award-winning writer/producer with four Emmy® and four WGA Award nominations, best known for his work on Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, SNL, MadTV, and HBO's The Sketch Pad. In 2024, his sketch Substitute Teacher (“…Ay-ay-Ron?”), was added to The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum Of American History.  An alum of Chicago’s The Second City and Improv Olympic, he’s also provided punch-up work on the films Mean Girls and Get Out. Rich recently produced and directed Falcon Out, a short film written and performed by L.A. writer/performer Alexandra Carbone. Rich’s screenplay The Widow Daredevil was an Official Selection of the 2020 Beverly Hills Film Festival.

The KC Improv Company started in a basement. Twenty years later, they perform 4+ comedy shows a week at The KC Improv Company Theater, multiple private events throughout the Midwest, and operate a year-round curriculum of improv classes.
