The MNCDA Summer Intensive Gala is the culminating performance of our week-long intensive, showcasing the artistry, growth, and hard work of our dancers. Throughout the week, participants collaborate with faculty to learn choreography and refine their technique, culminating in a celebratory performance for family, friends, and community members. The gala highlights dancers of all ages and experience levels and provides an opportunity for students to share what they have learned in a professional performance setting. We are excited to celebrate a week of dedication, creativity, and dance with you.

The 2026 MNCDA Summer Intensive is funded entirely by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council's flexible support grant. 
Supporting MNCDA’s mission to expand equitable access to classical dance education and to explore inclusive pedagogical models within studio-based training environments. This funding allows the intensive to prioritize community engagement, thoughtful curriculum design, and inclusive programming that reflects the diverse needs of today’s dancers.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
