Weird Pals
Albert Einstein once said, “A human being is a part of the whole, called by us ‘Universe,’ a part limited in time and space… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.”
I don’t really know what that means, but I do know that Weird Pals – the world’s premier “Weird Al” Yankovic tribute band – is the most unexpectedly tremendous musical force to come along in quite some time. The psychotic brainchild of Aaron Mortenson and Dylan Sevey, Weird Pals features a cast of top-tier solo artists and sidemen from Nashville whose collective résumés include touring gigs with Tyler Childers, Moon Taxi, Los Colognes, Ron Gallo, Elizabeth Cook, Margo Price, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and many others, as well as performances at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, and nearly every major festival around the world. They don’t just honor the musical genius of Al Yankovic; they embody the spirit of his cultural impact, taking their craft seriously while providing a joyous and welcoming environment for every audience member, many of whom have described the Weird Pals experience as "better than it has any right to be."
Put down that chainsaw and listen to them! Book them for your next wedding, cruise, corporate event, bar mitzvah, funeral, and gender reveal party! Or, find them at a venue near you. They may not be the band you think you need, but for that very reason, they are exactly the band you deserve. Dare to be stupid. Come see Weird Pals.
Social Cig
Born & brewed in Wisconsin, Social Cig is the 'Indie-Skate-Rock' music project of Filipino American, Parker Schultz.
