Description

TWO PLANES: Sam Hunt started Two Planes in 2008 at UNC Asheville as a scrappy two-piece noise/post rock band. Over the course of about 15 years, there were many lineups and many years of inactivity, but in late 2022 the current four-piece came together with a fuller and more melodic sound for the instrumental shoegaze/psych compositions and wrote some new material. LAWNDRY: This Nashville five-piece has been extremely prolific for over a decade, evolving from guitar-centric indie rock to a more electronic and percussive revolving door of instrumentation. Every year they write, record and self-release an improvised full-length album on a lake boathouse in a week's time, an act that certainly influences the overall vibes of their increasingly heady studio productions.
