Michael’s comedic pursuits have garnered him his own Drybar comedy special, a half hour comedy special that aired all across Canada on the Comedy Network, a comedy album called “Freak Laugh”, and a self-produced Youtube special called “Overcritical”. He has also performed at several prestigious comedy festivals including Just for Laughs in Montreal and the New York Comedy Festival.
Outside of the standup comedy world, Michael has also acted on numerous TV shows including NBC’s “The Bridge”, Amazon’s “A Good Cop”, and “Queer as Folk”. In 2021, Michael began writing, producing, directing, and starring in a series of his own satirical shorts. He earned the Gold Award for the Best Actor in a Comedy from Best Actor Awards NY and was a finalist for Funniest Short at the 2021 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.
To add another feather to his stool cap, Michael created and moderates the hit improv podcast “Character Debates” which features some of New York’s top comics debating in character! This off-the-wall podcast has earned the Audience Award at the Dark Comedy Filmfest, Best Comedic Podcast at Minnesota Webfest, and was a finalist for Best Comedic Podcast at the World-Wide Comedy Awards.
