Comedy U Presents Tuesday Night Comedy at the Slack Key Lounge of Hawaiian Brian's.

HEADLINER: Mike Rayo



Originally from Vallejo California, Mike Rayo began his comedy career in Honolulu Hawaii when nearly 6 years ago, he wandered into a Comedy U Show and found out that if he were to sign up for open mic and got on stage for a few minutes, he would be able to watch the show for free and avoid paying the cover charge. It resulted in him being the recipient of the Comedy U "Accidental Comedian Award". Since then, he has regularaly become a feature at shows across Oahu, including the Blue Note Hawaii, several of "Don't Tell Comedy Shows", as well as shows on the Big Island of Hawai’i. 

Mike has won ComedyU Hawai’i’s Most Improved comedian Award in 2022 and 2023. “Rayo” as he is known to the comics, tells audiences of his journey from late night parties to sobriety in his signature self deprecating style. 

His popularity continues to grow as he is introduced to audiences across Hawaii and the mainland as the opening act for Tumua Tuinei. He's performed at the Netflix is a Joke Fest at the Hollywood Comedy Store, the San Jose Improv, the Sacramento Punchline and will be at the Blaisdell Arena on Friday September 27th.
