In the decade and a half that's followed Richard Durand has hit the Top 100 of the DJ Magazine annual DJs poll on no less than five separate occasions, released five critically acclaimed artist albums, mixed six editions of the iconic 'In Search Of Sunrise' series of compilations and performed on many of the world's biggest stages including legendary event brands such as A State Of Trance, Dreamstate, Creamfields, Trance Energy, Sensation, Luminosity, Sunburn, Mayday, Untold, Zouk, Godskitchen, Avalon and Ministry Of Sound.

Richard raised the bar yet again with his fifth artist album 'Reactivate' released on Black Hole Recordings in 2022 with leading singer-songwriters such as HALIENE ('Give Your Heart A Home'), Christina Novelli ('My Guiding Light'), Christian Burns ('Almost Home') and Susana ('I Matter To You') all collaborating with Richard on standout singles for the album and Armin van Buuren supporting these singles and more on ASOT Radio.

Fans of the ASOT radio show have massively taken to Richard Durand in recent years with Richard's track 'The Air I Breathe' together with Christina Novelli winning #1 spot and the prestigious award 'ASOT Tune Of The Year' at the end of 2018 from a worldwide poll from the millions of listeners on the weekly radio show. Richard followed this up with #2 'ASOT Tune Of The Year' at the end 2019 with 'Save You' as well as numerous weekly awards for 'Tune Of The Week' and 'Future Favourite' on the show.

Richard's high quality studio output and ability to create mesmerising trance melodies fused with driving tech edged dancefloor rhythms have made him both a fan favourite as well as a much sought after producer amongst dance music peers with his most notable remix credits to date including works for such dance music luminaries as Tiësto ('Lethal Industry', 'Traffic', Flight 643' and 'Break My Fall'), Armin van Buuren ('In And Out Of Love', 'This Light Between Us' and 'Wild Wild Son'), Ferry Corsten ('Beat As One'), Andrew Rayel & Roxanne Emery ('Never Going Down'), Markus Schulz ('You Light Up The Night'), Emma Hewitt ('Collide'), Fragma ('Toca's Miracle') and Art Of Trance ('Madagascar').

Richard has resumed picking-up the best live event DJ opportunities since post COVID re-openings with particular highlights including A State Of Trance and Luminosity Beach Festival in the Netherlands, Creamfields UK, Untold Festival Romania, Euforia Festival Poland, Summer Sound Festival Finland, Zouk Singapore, Future Sound Of Egypt / Colosseum Indonesia and Dreamstate and Trance Unity in North America.

Further big Richard Durand single releases have been hitting charts and playlists in recent months including 'Evolution' on FSOE, 'Ballad Of The Southern Sea' on Armada / Armind, 'Million Stars' on Magik Muzik and 'Fall Through The Earth' on Muse.

Bigger news still is that Richard Durand has just been appointed as the new head of the In Trance We Trust label and event brand. Expect to see a raft of new names appearing on the label and for the tour events to step up a level onto bigger stages from late 2023 and into summer 2024 - Richard Durand is re-energised and ready to dominate!
