RubyJoyful - Original Americana Music from the Mountains of Colorado
In 2020, in the magical mountain town of Paonia, CO, the sweet sound of RubyJoyful was born.
Singer/songwriter Dan Rubinoff and his partner, singer/upright bass player Joice Moore, combined their
love for each other with their love for original Americana music to create a special sound and vibe that
invites listeners to relax and enjoy their unique, original, acoustic music that is quickly gaining notoriety
wherever they go.
This band is composed of truly accomplished, professional musicians;
a Who's Who of Americana and bluegrass artistry.
This May, RubyJoyful will be touring their debut album The Pie Chart of Love. This special duo
will be accompanied by Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon, up-and-coming guitarist Eli
Emmitt (son of Drew), the incomparable Rob Ickes on dobro, plus an exceptional guest on fiddle.
Regarding Luke Callen:
In an age of quick fixes, flashing screens, and pop ‘songs’ that are more formula than art, an album that takes its sweet time is a radical act. “Also Going Nowhere”, Luke Callen’s third full-length effort is just that – a collection of songs that spread out through time and space, dripping with honest Midwest charm and a mischievous glint. It’s music that you can relax into, paired with lyrics you’ll want to chew on and savor, that ask something of their listener. These songs are proof and reminder: you don’t actually have to go anywhere at all to, you know, get somewhere.
