About Wassim El-Mounzer

Born in Beirut, raised in Montreal, Wassim started comedy like most stand-ups - while teaching English in Bundang, South Korea. Shortly after moving back to his adopted home city to pursue standup, Wassim was named by the Montreal Gazette as one of the artists to watch. He has been featured on the BBC Arts Hour, CBC LOL, JFL New Wave of Stand-up, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and JFL Canadian New Faces of Comedy. His debut album 'You can English', produced by Comedy Records, is now available on streaming platforms.
