The Jack Wharff Band

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, The JackWharff Band play a strikingly unique blend of bluegrass, Country and rock. Known for their electric live performances, masterful instrumentation, and their ability to make music that consistently defies the confines of genre, the young band burst onto the scene last year with snippets of jaw-dropping original songs posted to TikTok and Reels. Composed of vocalist/frontman Jack Wharff, drummer Garrett Howell, bassist Ryan Atchison and guitarist Evan Novoa, the salt of the earth four-piece has quickly captivated audiences with their infectious energy and unrelenting passion for the craft.

The band has taken everything that has come their way in stride – viral videos of their original songs, a record deal with Big Machine Records, a move to Music City and more – earning a loyal following along the way. With an unparalleled ability to command an audience with vibrant stage presence far beyond their years and toe-tapping anthems that beg to be sung along to, it’s clear that this is just the beginning for The Jack Wharff Band. Next year, they are embarking on their 13 date debut headline tour, and will be on select dates of Ole 60’s Smokestack Town ‘26 Tour. Conner’s music blends country and folk styles with deeply personal lyrics. His debut single, "Father in a Bible," released independently in late October 2024, explores his experiences growing up without a father and the emotional and spiritual impact of that absence. The song resonated widely, amassing over 2 million streams in its first month and earning praise from artists like LeAnn Rimes, Maggie Antone, and Jessie Murph. Other notable tracks include "Peace with Pain" and "Oh Appalachia," which also address themes of addiction, loss, and personal struggle.

Conner is also an instrumentalist, playing the acoustic guitar, and frequently posts covers of artists such as Adele, The Lumineers, Fleetwood Mac, and The Eagles on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. His authentic storytelling and raw vocal delivery have led many in the music industry to call him “the future of country music”
