With special guest Aggie Flores
MITT SPICY and the BLUES BANDITS
have been showing us their stuff
for a relatively short time.
They have graced Steve's stage
and given us great music in Sopris Park.
They have played Burning Mountain Days in New Castle
since they formed.
And you may have found them
playing under the Bridge in Glenwood..
If you do not know who these fine musicians are,
let me offer you, in Alphabetical order.....
Time Piece Santino "Sandy " Angelo - PERCUSSION (Drums)
Blues Shreadmaster Jeff Andrews - GUITAR
Master Bassman Bruce Imig - BASS- duh...
and the Icing (Eyecing?) on top,
Powerhouse Vocalist Siren Wanda Micheli.
We thought we'd bring them indoors on a Friday !
Ain't NOBODY in the band gonna be worried 'bout no sooperstishusss sschtuff.... They Thrive On It!
But before you get hit with the Intensity of a Blues Band,
We would like to offer a bit of a contrast.
The Musical Talents of Aggie Flores!
Aggie's band ' Wildflowers ' played Steves'for their first time this past summer.
We were STOKED that was a Sold Out Show!
Aggie Flores’ songwriting has been influenced by international musicians like Natalia Lafourcade,
Jorge Drexler and Zoe Gotusso,she considers Damn Skippy,
Little Stranger and Loser Chris to be her mentors.
It’s no surprise she wants to infuse rap and electronic elements into her sound going forward.
“My folk music is lullaby-esque, and it served me for a long time because I needed my music to breathe.
But now I want to dance.”
We are happy Aggie could join the evening
and Open for The Blues Bandits.
